What we can and can't help with
MoneyHub PH is an independent Philippine personal-finance publisher. We write comparison guides and build calculators; we are not a bank, lender, insurer, broker, or agent, and we cannot open accounts, approve loans, release benefits, or access anyone's records. If your question is about a specific transaction, contact the institution directly — SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, your bank, or your e-wallet provider.
Messages we can act on include corrections to our data, requests for a guide or calculator, questions about our methodology, and press or partnership enquiries. Corrections are the ones we prioritise: if a rate, fee, contribution table, or deadline on the site is out of date, tell us which page and what changed and we will verify it against the primary source.
We aim to reply within a few business days. We do not give individual financial advice, recommend specific products for your situation, or handle complaints on behalf of third parties.
If you are reporting a scam, the fastest route is to report it to the institution being impersonated and to the authorities. Banks and e-wallets have their own fraud hotlines and in-app reporting flows, the BSP handles complaints about supervised financial institutions, and the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group and NBI Cybercrime Division take criminal reports. Sending us a screenshot does not stop a transfer; contacting your provider immediately sometimes does. We are still glad to receive scam examples, because they help us keep our phishing guides and quiz current, but please report them properly first.
For media enquiries, tell us your outlet, deadline, and the topic you want commentary on. For partnership or advertising enquiries, describe the format you have in mind — we keep editorial and commercial work strictly separate, and no arrangement changes a ranking, rating, or recommendation on the site.
- Include the page URL in every correction so we can verify it against the primary source.
- Never send account numbers, OTPs, passwords, PINs, or copies of IDs — we never need them and never ask for them.
- Urgent transaction problems belong with your bank, e-wallet, or agency, not with us.
- We do not sell, rent, or share the details you send through the contact form.
Before you write
Can you help with my SSS, Pag-IBIG, or PhilHealth claim?
No. We are not affiliated with any government agency and have no access to member records. Claims, contribution corrections, and benefit releases must go through the agency's own branches or member portals.
Can you tell me which product to choose?
We can point you to the guide or calculator that compares the options, but we do not give personalised financial advice. For advice specific to your circumstances, consult a licensed professional.
I found an out-of-date rate. What should I include?
The page URL, the figure you believe is wrong, the correct figure, and where you saw it. A link to the issuer's or agency's own page is ideal — that lets us verify and update quickly.
Do you accept guest posts or paid links?
We do not publish paid or guest-contributed links. Editorial content is written in-house and is not for sale.
How long does a reply take?
Usually a few business days. Corrections with a source link are handled fastest because they need the least back-and-forth. Broad questions such as 'what should I invest in' will get a pointer to the relevant guide rather than a personalised answer.
Can you suggest a topic for a new guide or calculator?
Yes, and topic suggestions genuinely shape our roadmap. Tell us the decision you are trying to make and what you could not find elsewhere; that is far more useful to us than a keyword, because it tells us what the guide actually has to answer.
What happens to the information I send?
It is used only to respond to your message and, where relevant, to correct or improve a page. We do not add you to a mailing list from a contact-form message, and we do not pass your details to third parties. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
Do you review or endorse products for a fee?
No. Our comparisons are based on published rates, fees, and terms from issuers and agencies. Nobody can pay to be included, ranked higher, or described more favourably.
